[Commonplace book], [late 17th century].

Manuscript on paper, in a single hand, containing 8 religious reflections in Latin and English, including excerpts from Apocalypsis Apocalypses, or the Revelation of St. John; a list of controversial religious issues titled The Answer to the Papist Misrepresent Represented; and a poem in English called The Righteous Mans Exhortation. The title of this last poem is annotated, "The last dying words of Doctr S. to his Parishners to forsake the sins that reigne in this present age: as pride envie hatred malice drunknesse and sabboth breaking."
